About Us
A Family Tradition
Welcome! The Agate Beach Golf Course opened for play in 1931 as the Agate Beach Golf Links.
The original course was designed by Frank Stenzel, Sr. and has been owned and operated by the Martin family since 1960. The layout is fairly level with slightly rolling terrain, surrounded by a lush wooded area. It is well maintained throughout the year and is especially suited for year-round play.
Through the years golfers have enjoyed the course with friends and family, making it a family tradition. It continues to be our commitment to provide an enjoyable round of golf.

Enjoy the “game of a lifetime”
Lessons and a full-service pro shop featuring sportswear, equipment and rentals are available seven days a week. Walk-ons are always welcome — and the café is open for breakfast and lunch.
Signature Hole
Number Eight
A 115-yard par 3 beneath towering fir and hemlock trees.
Head golf professional Terry Martin says his favorite part of the course is the eighth hole, which his father Bill constructed in 1960. The challenging green is guarded by a large bunker.
The hole serves as a memorial to Bill Martin, who passed away in 1995.
